You don’t get the precise directions that AirTag owners do – Tile is still working on its ‘Ultra’ tracker to address this. That’s in perfect conditions though, so expect it to be less in the real world. And theoretically it’ll connect to the app up to 400ft away. The ringer is nice and loud, so it’s easier to hear even if stuffed in a pocket or under a cushion. It’s IP67 water resistant despite the replaceable battery, and measures 58 x 32 x 7.5mm. It takes a CR2032 battery that lasts up to a year and – in our experience – a few months longer. The Tile Pro works reliably and – unlike the Tile Mate – still has a replaceable battery. The Tile Pro has been around for a good few years now, and thanks to a redesign that fits more easily in a bunch of keys, it remains one of the best Bluetooth trackers. Bluetooth trackers are also great gifts for friends and relatives. You might want to buy a few trackers to attach to various items, and you’ll find there are often discounts for buying in bulk. Unfortunately, AirTags work only with iPhones: they’re no use if you have an Android phone. Apple’s ‘community find’ is therefore much larger and broader than the communities of Tile, Chipolo and other brands, which means there’s a higher chance of finding a lost AirTag. This is one of the biggest attractions of AirTags because Apple’s system uses all existing iPhones to do this anonymous reporting and no-one needs to install an extra app for it to work. This helps when you really lose an item – maybe you drop your keys in a car park or at the train station – as it only needs another Tile user, say, to go within Bluetooth range of your dropped item and – if you’ve reported it lost in the app – you’ll get a notification telling you where it was last seen so you can go and search for it. You can download this app for free on Apple App Store, but however the developer (Tom Etminan) might add more features and provide a premium version as well.To get around the limited Bluetooth range, most tracker apps will anonymously connect to any compatible tracker and report its location. Hopefully it should also provide the same for the future iPhone versions. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. It is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. “Battery Monitor” app requires iOS 8.3 or later. Apple should have given this option by default for their iPhone and Watch combo, but oops, they didn’t. Now this app will alert you when the battery on your iPhone falls below a certain percentage and will also alert you when your iPhone is fully charged. Just install the Battery Monitor app on your iPhone, then open the Apple Watch app, go to My Watch > Glances, then add “Battery Monitor”. Just within a matter of seconds you can easily see your iPhone’s battery charging status. So when you have Apple Watch you don’t need to go to your car or go upstairs to check whether your iPhone is fully charged or not. Just consider this scenario, you just realised your iPhone’s battery is almost dead, so you left your iPhone in your car to get charged or you left your iPhone in your room upstairs. You must be curious why this app should be useful? With the help of “Battery Monitor” app you can easily monitor your iPhone’s battery right from your Apple Watch. Do remember that you need to pair your iPhone with your Apple Watch for this. But isn’t it hectic to go and check every time? Well, if you have the Apple Watch, then we have a pretty useful tip to monitor your Apple iPhone’s battery. I’m very curious to take it back as soon as it is fully charged. Whenever I charge my smartphone, I often go and check whether it is fully charged or not. Unless you live your life with a power bank attached to your body, you can’t possibly use your smartphone often and still have some battery power left.
